I’m Nikki Peters, a freelance writer and blogger with a soft spot for animals. Born and raised in Norfolk, in England, I 
studied History and Politics at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.
I took up writing in 2011, whilst working for a social media company. During this time I learnt and wrote about the importance of social media management and marketing for both businesses and personal use. This is something I have continued to be interested in and so write about frequently. Since leaving them, I have taken writing up independently and have learnt to expand on my writing skills and topics. Whether it be about social media, technology, health and lifestyle, culture and entertainment, press releases , marketing or copy writing, I have experience in these fields!
This blog allows me to showcase my work, make me accessible and allow me to write about all the things that I enjoy!

Hi Nikki. Thanks for the ‘like’ on my ramble about the cakes I made for my local village show. I had a meander through your blog and found lots to enjoy. I particularly like the comment in this ‘About me’: “and allow me to write about all the things that I enjoy!” – change the “I enjoy” to “interest me” and that’s my blog – no one theme. I like blogging because I like to write; facebook, twitter, etc don’t interest me at all personally though I have to be involved with them for my job – loosely marketing/communications. Oh, and social history fascinates me. I’ll be back from time to time.
